It is based on the autobiography of Milka Singh titled Race of My Life: An Autobiography which was co-authored by Sonia Sanwalka. The struggles undergone by Milka Singh to become an iconic athlete is beautifully portrayed in the movie. This 2013 Hindi film was written by Prasoon Joshi and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Milka Singh gifted the shoes he wore during the Rome Olympics to Farhan Akhtar during the movie’s shoot.
